Are you interested in local heritage?

If so, places are now available for a series of free one-day workshops in September 2021 for anyone interested in learning more about how to explore their local heritage and where and how to start their own project.

During the workshops participants will discover top tips for carrying out research and explore a range of online tools and how to use them. Local specialists will share their own inspiring research stories and talk about the journey of uncovering hidden histories.

What will you discover?

Workshops are taking place on Tuesday 14 September 2021 in Bridgnorth, Wednesday 15 September in Wem, and Thursday 16 September in Bishop’s Castle. A light lunch is being provided and access to a laptop computer can be confirmed on booking.

You can book a place online via Eventbrite for the Bridgnorth Wem and Bishop’s Castle events – or you can follow links at www.tdrheritage.co.uk/innsites/

These workshops are being organised as part of the Inn Sites project which is investigating, recording and celebrating Shropshire’s rural pub heritage.

During the day you will also have the opportunity to catch up with project news and find out how you can help out. You can follow our progress and get involved by connecting with us on Facebook @InnSites
