South planning committee – 9 October 2012 decisions
The following planning applications were considered and decided by Shropshire Council’s south planning committee at its meeting on Tuesday 9 October 2012 in Bridgnorth.
12/02049/FUL Land north west of Naboths Vineyard, Bridgnorth Road, Shipley.
Application under Section 73A of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 for the use of land as a model flying club, car parking area and erection of storage shed (Retrospective)
Decision: That, subject to delegated authority being given to Officers to review and amend the decibel figure in condition 7 to 80dB, planning permission be granted in accordance with the Officer’s recommendation.
12/02108/FUL Residential development land adjacent Dark Lane, Broseley.
Mixed residential development comprising 94 dwellings and garaging (sale, shared ownership and rent) to include creation of vehicular access (off Dark Lane), estate roads and cycleways; an area of public open space; landscaping scheme; and associated infrastructure.
Decision: That, subject to a Section 106 Agreement in respect of affordable housing, planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation.
12/02873/FUL 1 Upper Ludstone, Claverley, Shropshire, WV5 7DH
Application under Section 73a of the Town and Country Planning Act for the change of use from agricultural land to domestic garden land.
Decision: That, subject to the additional condition detailed below, planning permission be granted in accordance with the Officer’s recommendation:
Within one month of the approval decision, detailed elevations of the post and rail fencing shown on drawing no. 500/1 Rev A shall be submitted to and approved by the Local Planning Authority, and the erection of the fencing shall be carried out as approved within 3 months of the approval date of the submitted details.
Reason: To safeguard the character and visual amenities of the area.
