Residents invited to share views on preventative health information in Shropshire
People who live in Shropshire are being invited to take part in a short survey about how they find information, advice and support that helps them stay healthy and well.
The survey aims to better understand where residents look for preventative health information, including which sources they use now, and how they would prefer to receive information in future.

Take part in the survey to share how you prefer to find out about staying healthy
The findings will help shape future communications about topics such as healthy lifestyles, mental wellbeing, stopping smoking, community health checks and local support services.
The survey is about information that helps people stay healthy and well. It is not about NHS treatment, medical appointments or urgent healthcare services.
Cllr Ruth Houghton, portfolio holder for health and social care, said:
“Good preventative health information can help people make informed choices and access support before health problems develop.
“We want to understand where people who live in Shropshire currently look for information and advice that helps them stay healthy, and how they would prefer to receive it in the future.
“If you regularly seek health and wellbeing information or if rarely do so, we’d like to hear your views. Your feedback will help us make sure information is easier to find, more accessible and reaches the people who need it.”
People who live in Shropshire can complete the survey online at: Healthy Shropshire Survey
The survey takes around ten minutes to complete and is open until 19 October 2026.
