DRAWN Contemporary Fair

Taking place on Saturday 21 November (10am to 4pm) and Sunday 22 November (11am to 4pm), DRAWN is a carefully curated fair showcasing exceptional work from professional artists, designer-makers and contemporary craftspeople.

The event offers an opportunity to view and purchase distinctive pieces while meeting the accomplished makers behind them.

From expertly crafted ceramics and contemporary jewellery to original prints, textiles and fine art, DRAWN celebrates creativity, innovation and outstanding craftsmanship.

Every exhibitor has been selected for the quality of their work, offering visitors access to pieces that combine artistic vision with technical excellence.

What makes DRAWN particularly special is the opportunity to meet the artists and makers in person. Visitors can learn about the materials, techniques and processes behind each piece, gaining a deeper understanding of the skill, knowledge and dedication that underpin contemporary craft and design.

The fair offers a rare opportunity to acquire original work directly from the makers themselves. Whether you’re looking for an exceptional piece for your home, a distinctive addition to a personal collection or a thoughtful gift with a story behind it, DRAWN presents contemporary work across a range of styles and price points.

Alex Wagner, Shropshire Council’s portfolio holder for culture, said:

“DRAWN is a wonderful showcase of the outstanding creative talent we have in Shropshire. The fair brings together artists, designers and makers whose work demonstrates exceptional skill, creativity and craftsmanship.

It offers residents and visitors a fantastic opportunity to discover and purchase high-quality contemporary work, meet the people behind it and gain a deeper appreciation of the expertise involved in producing it.

Events like DRAWN play an important role in celebrating and supporting our thriving creative sector while enriching Shropshire’s cultural offer.”

Drawn Contemporary is open at Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery on Saturday 21 November, 10am to 4pm and Sunday 22 November, 11am to 4pm.  Admission is free and donations to support the museum are always welcome.
