Temporary traffic signals installed at Shrewsbury junction

Temporary traffic signals have been installed following a traffic signal-related accident overnight at the Ditherington Road/Mount Pleasant Road junction in Shrewsbury.

A signal pole was struck by a vehicle and left leaning at approximately 45 degrees.

Shropshire Council engineers attended the site and made the installation safe.

The temporary traffic signals will be in place until the permanent repair works are completed on Monday 24 August.
