Shropshire Climate Action open day on energy efficient buildings
News from our partners (Shropshire Climate Action)
Shropshire Climate Action is holding an open day on energy efficient buildings next month to help residents save money and reduce their carbon footprint.
The purpose of the day is to enable householders to:
- Learn from Marches Energy Advice (MEA) and Stretton Climate Care about the latest technologies, home energy surveys, and grants available to households
- Meet locally based advisers, installers and contractors
- Visit homes which have been adapted for the Zero Carbon future.
The open day is on Saturday 5 September from 10am to 4pm at the Methodist Church and Hall, Watling Street South, Church Stretton, SY6 7BG.
Admission is free and donations are welcome.
Shropshire Council helps lead and coordinate climate action across the county. Much of that work is delivered through partnerships. SCAP acts as the broad county-wide climate partnership, while Marches Energy Advice provides specialist energy advice and delivery services that the council works with to support residents and climate objectives
