Two Ellesmere roads to close for pre-surface dressing repairs

Two roads in Ellesmere will be closed for repairs/patching work this month – ahead of them being surfaced dressed later this year.

Love Lane will be closed from Tuesday 19 March to Thursday 21 March 2024, from 8am to 5pm each day.

Swan Hill to Coptiviney will be closed from Tuesday 19 March to Friday 22 March 2024, from 8am to 5pm each day.

When the roads are closed a signed diversion in place. Access will be provided for any properties and businesses within the closure, with staff on site able to assist.

Signs will be erected in the road before starting the work and the work will be completed as quickly as possible.

People are asked to ensure that vehicles are not parked on the road during the day whilst the work is in progress.

During the work access to the works area will be restricted to:

• • Essential highways personnel
  • Local residents who live and reside within the road closure
  • Businesses located within the closure (if applicable)
  • Pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and equestrians
  • Emergency service vehicles
