The first film in the series to be shown at Old Market Hall, Shrewsbury on Saturday 9 December 2023, will be a screening of family favourite Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (PG) and it will be shown in Ukrainian, without subtitles.

“This is a fabulous new initiative and we are delighted to be able to extend the invitation to our international communities to come along and enjoy our fabulous cultural facilities, enjoy a snack and socialising with new friends.

“As part of the Friendship Through Films programme, over the coming months we will be showing a combination of English films dubbed into different languages and international films with English subtitles.

“I am sure both films, which will be dubbed in Ukrainian, will be very well attended by families and will give them both a sense of being welcomed in our county and the opportunity to meet new friends.”

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (PG) (Ukrainian) will be shown at the Old Market Hall at 11am on Saturday 9 December.

Tickets are just £3 per person which includes a soft / hot drink or an ice cream and must be booked online in advance here.
