Severn Trent to carry out sewer cleansing on The Mount, Shrewsbury

Severn Trent Water will be carrying out sewer cleansing works on The Mount, Shrewsbury from Monday 15 May [2023] for two weeks.

Due to the size of the tankers which will be on site during the work, the road will be closed for safety reasons from 9pm to 6am each day. During these times a signed diversion route will be in place, and access to properties and businesses will be maintained at all times.

Severn Trent Water operatives will be accessing manhole covers between property numbers 3 to 104 whilst the road closure is in place.

Residents and businesses will be notified via a letter drop and advanced warning signs will be erected on site two weeks prior to the works starting.
