Rob Gittins, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member for culture and digital, said:-

“We are delighted to be working in partnership to bring this careers-focused event to Shrewsbury Library.

“There are so many careers available to people with a passion for reading and writing, I am sure that the guest speakers will demonstrate the broad range of opportunities that are available for young people looking to harness the power of words in their future roles.”

The event, which will run from 1pm to 3pm, is free, but places must be booked here. Refreshments and a goody bag will also be available.
