Shropshire Council’s housing company Cornovii Developments Limited plans in the coming weeks to submit a planning application to build new homes on the former Ifton Heath Primary School site at Overton Road, Ifton Heath, St Martins.

The former school site will be transformed to accommodate 40 new homes: a mixture of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses, and 1 and 2 bedroom bungalows. 25 homes will be sold on the open market and 15 new affordable homes delivered, a mix of affordable rent and shared ownership properties. Work is expected to start early 2021 at the Overton Road site, with the first homes ready in Autumn 2021.
