Car parks and roads – update following recent flooding

Please see below the latest information about roads and car parks affected by the recent flooding.

Important message: please continue to adhere to any road and car park closures; they are in place for people’s safety and will cease as soon as flooding and associated hazards subside.

CAR PARKS

Shrewsbury

  • Frankwell – riverside – closed, as it’s being used by the Environment Agency

All other car parks are open.

ROAD CLOSURES

Shrewsbury

  • Chiltern Farm Lane – closed

North Shropshire road closures

  • Burma Road, Park Hall, Whittington – closed

South Shropshire road closures

  • B4368 Clun to Newcastle (road slip) – closed 

BUSES

Bridgnorth

The Bridgnorth 101 town service will be FREE to use every Saturday in March 2020.

Ludlow

Ludlow Park and ride service will be FREE to use every Thursday in March 2020.

Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury’s park and ride service will be FREE to use until Saturday 14 March from all three park and ride sites – Meole Brace, Harlescott and Oxon.
