Jason “Foxy” Fox – star of SAS Who Dares Wins – confirmed for Shrewsbury leadership event

Jason Fox, former special forces officer and star of Channel 4’s “SAS Who Dares Wins”, will speak at The Leadership Conference in Shrewsbury.

The conference, organised by Shropshire HR, part of Shropshire Council, will be held at Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury on Wednesday 23 September 2020.

Drawing on experiences from his action-packed career to date, Jason will deliver a presentation and workshop focusing on the importance of leadership, teamwork and mental resilience whilst operating in pressurised environments. He is joined by fellow speakers: Josephine Fairley, founder of Green and Black’s chocolate, and Alison Oliver, CEO of the Youth Sport Trust.

After the success of last year, The Leadership Conference returns for 2020 with an internationally-renowned line-up of presenters plus a new headline sponsor in Oswestry-based firm Aico. Up to 600 delegates representing public and private sectors, local SMEs and international businesses, will experience a day of inspirational keynote speeches and challenging workshops.

Jason regularly leads and motivates teams in pressurised environments, with his motivational speeches focussing on the importance of leadership, teamwork and mental resilience. His presentation at this year’s conference will give delegates an insight into the importance of effective leadership when operating in pressurised environments.

Alison Oliver – Chief Executive, Youth Sports Trust

Acknowledged as one of the most influential women in British sport, Alison Oliver is Chief Executive of the Youth Sport Trust and responsible for the development and implementation of nationwide youth sport projects. Having worked in sport for her entire career, first as a teacher and then lecturer, Ali leads the charge in getting young girls and boys into sport.
