Shropshire Council’s Shropshire Music Education Hub is inviting adult singers and community choirs to a vocal workshop with leading singing expert Richard Frostick on Saturday 19 October 2019.

The workshop, at Belvidere School in Shrewsbury from 10am until 4pm, promises to be a fun-filled day where people can learn basic singing technique, tuning and tone. The day will also focus on effective warm up techniques and give advice on concert preparation and repertoire choice.

From 2008 until 2012 he was Artistic Director of the Cultural Olympiad’s Youth Music Voices, and he is currently Artistic Director of the British Council’s World Voice Project and Director of Music Centre London. He has prepared young choirs for seven BBC Proms concerts, most recently for the John Williams Prom that was broadcast on BBC4 TV.
