Exciting guided walk exploring Llanymynech Lime Kilns on 8 July 2019

Shropshire Council’s rangers have organised an 8½ mile guided walk exploring Llanymynech Lime Kilns and Montgomery Canal on Monday 8 July 2019.

Meeting at the British Waterways (Canal & River Trust) car park off the A483 in Llanymynech (SY22 6HB), the walk will explore the area around Llanymynech Lime Kilns and pass by the Montgomery Canal, Lyncls Hill, Offa’s Dyke and Llanymynech Hill.

Meet time is 9.15am, for 9.30am start, with expected finish at 4.30pm. Prices are adults £4.50, children £3. Members of Shropshire’s Great Outdoors – free.  Booking and payment in advance is essential – call 01746 781192 – plus ask for any more information.

Please bring a packed lunch and drink, wear walking boots and bring waterproofs in case of rain.
