Albrighton area LJC,  and Shifnal & Sheriffhales LJC: joint public meeting

Albrighton area Local Joint Committee (LJC), and Shifnal and Sheriffhales LJC, are coming together on Monday 3 September 2018 to hear a presentation on the future of Shropshire’s health service.

Representatives from the NHS will be attending the meeting to present their recommendations as part of their consultation on the Future Fit proposals: https://www.nhsfuturefit.org/key-documents/about-the-future-fit-programme. Local people from across the area are invited to attend and have their say.

The meeting will be held from 6pm–8pm on Monday 3 September 2018 at St Mary’s Church Centre, Vicarage Lane, off High Street, Albrighton, WV7 3EQ.

Local Shropshire Councillors for the areas, Malcolm Pate, Ed Bird and Kevin Turley,  welcome everyone across the two LJC areas to attend this important meeting.  They know there are concerns locally about the future of the health service in Shropshire.  This is an opportunity for everyone to come together to voice concerns directly to the people who will be considering the future management of these services.

For further information on this meeting contact Andrea McWilliams, Shropshire Council’s community enablement officer for Albrighton and Shifnal at andrea.mcwilliams@shropshire.gov.uk or 07990 085124.
