Shrewsbury 10K race, Sunday 22 July – road closure information

The rescheduled Shrewsbury 10K race takes place on Sunday 22 July 2018. The race (with approximately 2000 participants) will start at 9am with a number of roads closed from 8.45am. The event is due to be completed at about 11.30am and roads will be reopened at this time, or earlier where possible.

Vehicle access to properties will be maintained where possible but some long delays may be experienced whilst there are runners on the route.

The route is:

High Street, Shoplatch, Bellstone, Barker Street Welsh Bridge, Frankwell, The Mount, Richmond Drive, Copthorne Road, New Street, Porthill Road, Roman Road, Kennedy Road, Kingsland Road, Longden Coleham, Coleham Head, English Bridge, St Julian’s Crescent, The Quarry, Victoria Avenue, St Austin’s Friars, St Austin’s Street, Barker Street, Bellstone, St John’s Hill, Cross Hill, Swan Hill, College Hill, Princess Street, Milk Street, and High Street.
