B4373 at Bridgnorth closed, due to lorry fire

The B4373 at Bridgnorth (WV16 4SH) is currently closed due to a lorry fire which took place yesterday evening.

There has been some damage to the road and a nearby tree, as well as spillage.

A full emergency road closure has been implemented to allow our highways contractor to heavily sand the area to absorb fuel and water, and to sweep the road.

The road could remain closed until Monday 2 July 2018. This will depend on the extent of damage to the road surface and nearby tree.
