Related topics: Highways, transport and environmental maintenance

The work at Coppice Green Lane outside Idsall School is largely completed, with 2-way traffic able to use this section of the lane from Friday evening (22 September 2017). The final carriageway surfacing works will be carried out over the weekend, with a daytime closure on Saturday 23 September between 8am – 5.30pm, and a full 24-hour closure on Sunday 24 September. This will enable all surfacing work and the white lining to be completed.

As of Monday 25 September, Coppice Green Lane will be fully open again to all. The footway link and crossing point on Curriers Lane will be completed between Monday 25 – Friday 29 September, under temporary traffic signals during the daytime. From Monday 2 October until Friday 13 October any outstanding minor works will be completed such as school perimeter fencing, connection of street lighting and signing.

Shropshire Council is very grateful for the patience shown for the inconvenience caused during the works period to enhance road safety at this location.
