The aim of the day is to recognise and increase awareness of the Regular, Reserve Forces and the Military Community as a whole in the Shropshire area. Various units and sub units with in the Shropshire area benefited from the exposure of this high profile event including, E Company 6 Rifles, D Squadron Royal Yeomanry, 123 Sqn 159 RLC and C Det 202 Field Hospital. The Royal Navy also attended the event along with representatives from the Soldiers Sailors Air Force Association (SSAFA), The Royal British Legion (RBL) and also the Royal Air Force (RAF), provided a Griffin Helicopter as a display from the Defence Helicopter School based at RAF Shawbury.For further information about this event please contact Squadron Leader (Sqn Ldr) Kim Leach, Corporate Engagement Relations Officer on 01939 250351 ext 7572
