Local residents in Much Wenlock and Shipton are invited to come and meet Police & Crime Commissioner

Members of the Much Wenlock and Shipton Local Joint Committee have organized a drop-in session at the Priory Hall, Much Wenlock on Wednesday 6 September 2017, from 6 pm.

John Campion, Police & Crime Commissioner for West Mercia, will be attending to chat with local residents and give a brief talk about his role.

All local residents are welcome to attend and refreshments will be available.

The meeting will also include an update from the local policing team regarding crime and safety in the area.

Also attending will be a representative from Shropshire Council’s parking enforcement team who will be available to speak on a one-to-one basis and take comments on Shropshire Council’s draft parking strategy.  For the consultation please click here.

Local Shropshire Councillor David Turner, who chairs the meeting said:

“Local policing, community safety and parking are all subjects that are important to all of us.  Please take this opportunity to come along and raise any issues and questions you may have.”
