Resurfacing work taking place on the B4397 near Loppington

Essential resurfacing work began on Monday 17 July 2017 on the B4397 between Loppington and Horton.

The work will take six weeks to complete and will be undertaken under a full road closure between 8pm and 6am, Monday to Friday.

A signed diversion route via Wem, Harmer Hill and Burlton (and vice-versa) will be in place during these times – see map. If required, traffic lights will be used outside of these hours.

This site has been identified via a combination of asset management data and local engineering judgment and has been deemed in need of essential maintenance. As such we ask for your patience and support while the work is carried out and offer our apologies for any inconvenience that may be caused.
