Spanish-themed author event at Library at The Lantern, Shrewsbury on 15 July

The Library at the Lantern in Harlescott, Shrewsbury will be holding a Spanish-themed author event on Saturday 15 July 2017 to launch Shropshire Libraries’ Big Summer of Reading.

The “Taste of Spain” event will include a talk from local author, Diana Rosie, who will be giving a presentation on the landscape that inspired her hugely successful debut novel, “Alberto’s Lost Birthday”.

The free event on Saturday 15 July is from 11am to 12 midday, and will include refreshments with a Spanish twist.

Shropshire Libraries’ Big Summer of Reading is running alongside the annual Summer Reading Challenge for children. It is aimed at teenagers and adults who are asked to read four books over the summer and write a short review of each book read. Registration for the Big Summer of Reading opens on Saturday 15 July and all completed entry forms will be entered into a prize draw.
