Road users are being warned to expect some disruption in and around Shrewsbury on the morning of Sunday 30 April 2017, as the Bike4Life Midlands Air Ambulance charity motorbike ride heads out from the Meole Brace Park & Ride site to RAF Cosford, via the A5 and M54.

The Ride Out will leave the Park & Ride site at 11.30am, with participants due to arrive from 8am for registration.

Due to this event the Park & Ride site will be closed to all other vehicles.

Some disruption is also expected on the A5 and M54.

Last year 6,000 riders and pillions took part in the Bike4Life Ride Out. This year the ride out will be led by Superbike World Champion, Carl Fogarty, truck and bike champion Steve Parrish, and the emergency bikers.

The Ride Out ends at RAF Cosford for the Bike4Life Festival, which includes live bands and biker demonstrations, biker-themed stalls and exhibitions, plus a range of refreshment stands and entertainment for young children.

All proceeds from Bike4Life go directly to Midlands Air Ambulance charity.
