Decisions made by Cabinet on 18 January 2017

The following decisions were made by Shropshire Council’s Cabinet at its meeting today (Wednesday 18 January 2017).

All these items on the agenda were approved as per recommendations, except as detailed below:

• Shropshire Council adult social care – Local Account 2015/16. An additional recommendation that it goes to scrutiny was also approved.
• Consultation on issues and strategic options for the Shropshire Local Plan review.
• Marches business broadband grant scheme.
• Shropshire schools funding formula 2017/18.  An amendment to the first recommendation was agreed, to read: That Cabinet delegates to the Director of children’s services in consultation with the portfolio holder to accept the recommendation of Shropshire Schools Forum on the funding formula for Shropshire schools for the financial year 2017-18 for maintained schools, and the academic year 2017-18 for academies.
