See the Flying Scotsman and Tornado locomotives race through Severn Valley Country Park

Between Thursday 22 September 2016 and Monday 26 September 2016 the steam locomotives Flying Scotsman and Tornado are visiting the Severn Valley Railway.

The line passes through Severn Valley Country Park, and offers visitors the opportunity to see the locomotives close by as they steam through.

To mark this event the country park is hosting a number of attractions between 22 September and 26 September.

Car parking is £2 for all day (car park closes at 5.30pm).

On Saturday 24 September and Sunday 25 September there will be a shuttle bus taking visitors up and down the hill to the railway line. Single journey tickets £1, return £1.50. This will be operating on the hour and on the half hour.

On Sunday 25 September, from 2pm onwards, there will be a display of classic Morgan cars.

The Tearoom and Visitor Centre, offering drinks, homemade cakes, ice creams and sandwiches, is open on all dates, 11am – 5pm.

Extra parking is available on Saturday 24 September and Sunday 25 September.

Please note that on these dates, trains will not stop at the Country Park Halt.
