Essential resurfacing work is to be carried out on the A41 Ternhill Roundabout and the roads approaching the roundabout.

Work will begin on Tuesday 18 October 2016 and will last approximately six weeks. To minimise disruption the work will be undertaken at night, between 8pm and 6am, and will be carried out under temporary traffic lights.

Access to properties will be maintained throughout the work.

Simon Jones, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member for highways and transport, said:

“These important roadworks will greatly improve the road surface on the roundabout and surrounding roads, helping it to meet the needs of the local community and through traffic long into the future.

“As such we ask for people’s patience and support while the work is carried out, and offer our apologies for any inconvenience that may be caused.”

A dedicated webpage giving information about this work has been set up at shropshire.gov.uk/roadworks.

Updates will be added to this page throughout the work to keep people informed of progress.
