The following decisions were made by Shropshire Council’s Cabinet at its meeting today (Wednesday 13 July 2016).

All items on the agenda were approved as per recommendations:
- Draft Shropshire Council Corporate Plan 2016/17 to 2018/19
- Scrutiny Reports – Financial Strategy Task and Finish Group – Interim Report
- Financial Strategy 2017/18 and 2019/20
- Shropshire Council Equality Objectives Action Plan 2016-2020
- Opening hours across Customer Service Points
- Proposed new Highway Safety Inspection Manual for Shropshire 2016-2020
- Proposed Kinnerley Conservation Area Designation
- Transfer of Emstrey Crematorium contract
- Improved swimming facilities for Shrewsbury – the recommendations on this one were approved, but wording was amended.
- Connecting Shropshire – Broadband Strategy
- Day Services for Adults with Learning Disabilities – award of contract for Innage Lane, Oak Farm and The Meres, including Ellesmere Library and Customer Services reprovision.
