Author John Connolly comes to Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury Library recently won a competition run in conjunction with The Reading Agency who work with libraries, publishers and other partners. The library’s display, to showcase the Charlie Parker series of books written by John Connolly, was judged a winner. shrewsbury library - competition

The prize was an event with John, who is an internationally-acclaimed author. Please come along to meet John and hear about his latest Charlie Parker crime novel “A Time Of Torment” on Monday 11 April 2016 from 7pm at Shrewsbury Library. Entrance is £3, to include a glass of wine.

Stuart West, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member for leisure and culture, said:

 “Well done to Shrewsbury Library for winning this competition. It’s very exciting to be able to welcome such a well-known and acclaimed author to the library.”
