If you are looking for a fantastic way to kick-start the Christmas season, rangers at  Severn Valley Country Park are welcoming popular vocal group the Severn Singers for an entertaining evening of festive music on Monday 7 December 2015.

Visitors will be treated to the soaring voices of the Severn Singers, as well as having the opportunity to join in and sing themselves. Musical director Rory Freckleton and the group have created a wonderful programme of well-loved Christmas carols and songs to help welcome in the holiday season. The classic tunes will include Jingle Bells, Winter Wonderland, Silent Night, Good King Wenceslas and many more Christmas favourites, meaning there is something for everyone.

Song sheets will be provided and, during the interval, mince pies and mulled wine will be served to help ring in the spirit of Christmas.

Susie Comaish, visitor centre manager, said:

“We are very excited to be welcoming the Severn Singers to the country park. It is a delight to hear them sing, and their performances always have an added sense of fun which is perfect for this musical evening.”

“An Evening of Christmas Music with the Severn Singers” will be held on Monday 7 December 2015 at 7.30pm-9.30pm in the visitor centre. Tickets are available by calling 01746 781192.
