Members of the public are invited to come to meet with local councillors and raise issues of concern relating to the local area. On the agenda this time is the opportunity to hear an update from Bob Vincent on the work of the Shifnal Neighbourhood Plan group who, after months of hard work, are preparing to consult on their final document before it’s submitted for formal consideration.

Chris Edwards, Shropshire Council’s area commissioner, will be on hand to highlight the consultation on the future of the library service in Shifnal.

John Webb, member of the Sheriffhales Parish Plan group, will also be attending to highlight work to date on producing an updated Parish Plan.

Representatives from the local police team and fire service will also be present to provide updates on their respective services.

Councillor Stuart West, Chair of the LJC, said:

“This is a really important community meeting and everyone’s invited to come along and raise issues directly with their councillors. We will try to answer as many questions as we can on the night, but can also seek out answers from officers at a later date, if appropriate. This is your opportunity to speak to your local councillors direct about the issues that concern you. Why not come along and take part if you have issues that you want to raise and have your say.”

Please note this meeting is being held at Sheriffhales Village Hall this time.
