News from our partners Broseley Youth Partnership

Young people in Broseley are invited to join the party on Sunday 27 September 2015.

Broseley Youth Partnership is crossing its fingers that the sun is going to shine between 12pm and 4pm when the annual youth day will be taking place at Birchmeadow Park and Centre.

The partnership has worked hard to make sure that the festival is the best yet, with many of the local young people and clubs helping with the organisation and planning.

Jean Jones, Chair of the Partnership and local Shropshire Councillor for Broseley, said:

“There is something for all ages: we have a climbing wall, inflatables, go-karts, cricket matches, a fun run and much more.

“You can also visit our Young Entrepreneurs Street Market and have a go at the human fruit machine.”

Simon Harris, Mayor of Broseley, said:

“The event is an important part of the town’s calendar, and I’m pleased that it is staged at the Birchmeadow Park and Centre.”

Entry to the festival is just £1 by purchasing a wrist band, which will allow access to all of the activities. Refreshments and drinks will also be on sale.

Funding towards the festival has been provided by Shropshire Towns and Rural Housing and Fairness, Respect, Equality Shropshire (FRESh).
