Craven Arms and Rural Local Joint Committee (LJC) has an interesting meeting planned on Wednesday 15 July 2015 at 7pm at Clee St Margaret Village Hall.

The main item for discussion will be European funding opportunities for the local south Shropshire area, including the new LEADER programme.

There will also be an update on youth funding for the local area, and a report from the flood team on local work.  In addition, those in attendance can raise issues with local councillors.

Councillor David Evans, chairman of the LJC, said:

“There will be opportunities available for our local economy to gain some benefit from new European funding streams; please come along to find out more.”

The meeting will also include an update from the Craven Arms Safer Neighbourhood Team regarding local crime and safety, and news and events from the parishes that form the LJC.

Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting and to take part in the discussions.
