Applications going to South planning committee on 19 May 2015

The following planning applications will be considered by Shropshire Council’s South planning committee at its meeting at Shirehall, Shrewsbury on Tuesday 19 May 2015 at 2pm.

  • Brian Mear (Bricks) Ltd, former Burway Abattoir, Bromfield Road, Ludlow, SY8 1DN (14/00563/FUL)  Demolition of existing buildings on former Burway Abattoir site and erection of proposed petrol filling station and ancillary convenience store with new vehicular access (revised scheme). 
  • Grindle House, Grindle, Shifnal, TF11 9JR (14/01874/FUL)  Application under Section 73a of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 for the change of use of redundant agricultural buildings to commercial (class B8) use.
  • Hazeck, The Mines, Benthall, Broseley, TF12 5QY (14/05212/FUL)  Revisions to existing planning approval for side extension.
  • Development land west of Coppice Green Lane, Shifnal (15/00089/REM)  Approval of Reserved Matters (layout, appearance, scale and landscaping) pursuant to permission 13/02989/OUT for the mixed residential development of 200 dwellings; associated parking and estate roads; landscaping works and formation of public open spaces; and associated works.
  • Bridgnorth Aluminium Ltd, factory and premises, Stourbridge Road, Bridgnorth, WV15 6AU (15/00371/FUL)  Rolling Mill installation to include erection of air purification building and exhaust stack, increased height extension to B14a, oil filter plant, and transformer enclosure.
  • Proposed development land west of Watling Street, Craven Arms (15/01054/REM)  Approval of Reserved Matters (appearance, landscaping, layout and scale) pursuant to outline application 14/01645/OUT for the erection of 25 no. affordable dwellings.
