University Centre Shrewsbury 2016 undergraduate prospectus available to help make choices

University Centre Shrewsbury’s undergraduate prospectus for 2016 has been published, providing details of courses, support, the town and how to apply.

The prospectus outlines information on a range of courses including: Applied Psychology; Biotechnology; Business Studies; English; Genetics and Evolution; History, and Sport Management.

It also includes information on sites, finance, and the ways University Centre Shrewsbury courses and wider opportunities are designed to help ensure that graduates are fully equipped for the workplace.

The undergraduate students arriving in 2016 will be University Centre Shrewsbury’s second intake. Undergraduate students will be welcomed to the University Centre from autumn 2015, and postgraduate courses started in autumn 2014.

More than 20 undergraduate and postgraduate courses are being offered at University Centre Shrewsbury in 2015 and 2016, with additional courses including Continuing Professional Development programmes being developed.

Paul Kirkbright, University Centre Shrewsbury Deputy Provost said:

“Our prospectus is one of the ways we are sharing information on studying at University Centre Shrewsbury, which also include taking part in higher education events around the country, our website and social media.

“The prospectus sets out how students can benefit from an outstanding overall experience, which gives them the academic and practical employment skills to succeed in their chosen path.

“Shrewsbury offers an ideal setting for students to reach their full potential, and the prospectus tells people more about its many features. The town is a great place to study, live and work, combining modern facilities with a remarkable heritage, in a beautiful county.”

Copies of the prospectus are available at the information point at Rowley’s House, Barker Street, Shrewsbury. The information point is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm each day (excluding Wednesdays from 10am to 1pm and Bank Holidays).
