Shropshire Council is encouraging local people to come along to their next Wem and Shawbury Local Joint Committee (LJC) meeting to talk about the issues that matter to them.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday 24 March 2015 at 7pm at Shawbury Village Hall.

The local policing team will be present to provide an update on local policing and community safety issues.  There will also be information about the Connect-Create Project being co-ordinated by The Hive, and a presentation on library provision in Shawbury.

Simon Jones, chairman of the LJC, said:

“This is an important meeting for residents to attend as there will be information on the future of Shawbury Library and the provision on youth activities in the area.  I would encourage residents to come along and get involved with shaping service delivery.”

This is an open public meeting, so everyone is more than welcome to attend.
