Condover Parish Plan underway: questionnaire to follow a public meeting on Thursday evening

Related topics: Community / Democracy

Condover Parish Plan is underway, covering the main settlements of Condover, Dorrington, Stapleton, Ryton and many smaller outlying hamlets.  A Parish Plan is your chance to have your say about the community you live and work in.

The newly-formed steering group for Condover Parish Plan has been gathering information about what the people of Condover parish love about their area, and what they would like to see developed.  If you live or work in the area, watch out for a questionnaire, which will be delivered to everyone in the next few weeks.  This will be your chance to have your say.

A public meeting will be held in Stapleton Village Hall on Thursday 13 November 2014 at 7pm to outline the questionnaire that will be distributed to every household in the parish.  All members of Condover parish communities, in Condover, Dorrington, Ryton and Stapleton, are warmly invited to come along.

Councillor Tim Barker said:

‘‘ The refresh of the existing Parish Plan is important, as it’s a means of capturing community priorities.  I urge everyone to participate.”

If you would like to be involved and could offer to deliver some questionnaires, please contact Edward Marvin on 01743 719047.  We especially need more volunteers from Condover.
