Meole Brace Park & Ride open late tonight for cup clash

Shropshire Council have confirmed that Meole Brace Park & Ride will be open late tonight for supporters attending the big Capital One Cup tie at the Greenhous Meadow.

Leader of Shropshire Council, Keith Barrow, welcomed the agreement with the club, saying:

“There’s a real buzz about the place and it’s great for supporters and residents alike that we’ve been able to do this with the club. Hopefully we’ll see a good game and a Town win, good luck to them.”

Zoe Mortimer, Engineering and Contracts Manager at Shropshire Council, said:

Shropshire Council have worked with Shrewsbury Town Football Club and have made arrangements for Meole Brace Park & Ride to be open for the evening. Shrewsbury Town are leading on the travel plans for their supporters so if you’d like to know more about parking for future games and what is available you should contact the club directly and they will be able to help you.”
