The next Severn Loop Local Forum will receive an update on work to look at options for a new swimming pool for Shrewsbury; a presentation on the Our Place programme; updates on local policing issues; and discussion on the Future Fit programme, which is your chance to influence the future of NHS provision in Shropshire.

Everyone is invited to attend the meeting, which is on Monday 20 October 2014 at The Guildhall, Shrewsbury from 7pm.

Councillor Andrew Bannerman, Chairman, explained:

“We have a range of really important issues effecting the Severn Loop area and we really need local people to come along to the meeting to have their say.

“The future of swimming provision is of great interest to many people, and this is a chance for people to come along and hear about the current status of this work.

“We will have discussion on the Future Fit programme, where local people’s input is vital, and our local police will be there to talk about any current priorities, and answer questions.

“Our Place is an exciting programme that aims to bring significant benefit to how Shrewsbury town centre functions, particularly the way different organisations work together to bring the best out of our town.

“We urge local residents to come along to find out more.”
