Surgery from pre-history to the Renaissance with Kevin Goodman: a living history talk

Severn Valley Country Park, near Alveley, is inviting people to join Mediaeval & Tudor re-enactor Kevin Goodman for an entertaining look at a number of surgical techniques carried out from pre-history to the Renaissance, including trepanning, tooth extraction, arrow and bullet wound treatment, amongst many others.

The talk is on Thursday 9 October 2014 at 7.30pm, and is accompanied by replicas of the surgical tools used.  Prices are adults £5, children £3. These prices include a slice of cake and one drink during the interval: other refreshments will be available to purchase.
