The next meeting of the Ellesmere area Local Joint Committee (LJC) takes place on Wednesday 8 October 2014 at Ellesmere Town Hall at 7pm.

A presentation will be given on NHS Future Fit, the programme looking at hospital services in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin, and shaping our future health care services.

Priorities of the councils in the area will also be discussed, and a presentation given about bringing faster broadband to Shropshire.  People are encouraged to come along and have their say.

Councillor Ann Hartley, chair of the LJC, said:

“We want local people who use health care services from Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and mid-Wales to have their say in how we shape health care for the next 20 years.  I would encourage local people to come along and get involved.  There will also be an opportunity for residents to identify priorities for each parish.”
