A458 Newtown Bank re-opened

Shropshire Council is set to re-open the A458 Newtown Bank in Much Wenlock today following the completion of essential road resurfacing, which were completed both on time and in budget by contractor Lafarge Tarmac under the supervision of Mouchel

During the two week road closure, other essential maintenance activities at Harley Bank were completed alongside the resurfacing works. Some of these included a structural inspection of the Harley Bank rock face and tree cutting, gully repairs and safety signing upgrades.
