Reminder for motorists ahead of the V Festival next weekend

Next weekend [Saturday 16 August 2014 / Sunday 17 August 2014] is the V Festival at Weston Park, and motorists are reminded that due to expected heavy traffic between Friday 15 August and Monday 18 August there will be traffic restrictions in place.

The restrictions are on the A41 – between the A5 and M54 – and Offoxey Road, where one way traffic flows will be introduced.

Due to the volume of traffic entering and exiting the festival on the Friday and Monday it is expected that there will be long delays on the road network in this area.  Access for residents and heavy goods delivery vehicles requiring access will be maintained.
