News from our partners Wem Town Hall

Wem Town Hall are offering bespoke support to local unemployed people to help them secure employment, apprenticeships and work placements.

Based at Wem Town Hall every Tuesday, unemployed people can receive help with job searches, updating CVs, interview skills, confidence building and with general computer skills.  They also have computers available throughout the day to enable clients to carry out job searches independently.

Local Councillor Pauline Dee said:

“This is a great opportunity for unemployed people in the Wem area to receive some additional support.  I would particularly like to see some of the recent school leavers and young people leaving college go along to Wem Town Hall and get help looking for work or apprenticeships.”
