The next Severn Loop Local Joint Committee (LJC) meeting will receive a presentation on the Our Place Programme, updates on local policing issues and discussion on the future of LJC meetings.

Everyone is invited to attend the meeting, which will be held on Wednesday 25 June 2014 from 7pm at The Guildhall.

Councillor Andrew Bannerman, Chairman of the LJC, said:

“We have a range of really important issues effecting the Severn Loop area, and we really need local people to come along to the meeting to have their say.

“Our Place is an exciting programme that aims to bring significant benefit to how Shrewsbury town centre functions, particularly the way different organisations work together to bring the best out of our town.

“Our local police will be present to talk about any current priorities and answer questions, and we will be putting forward a proposal on how the meetings will work in the future.

“We urge all local residents to come along to find out more.”
