Discover the beauty of Severn Valley on a walk in June

Related topics: Leisure, culture and heritage

Shropshire Council invites you to join the outdoor recreation service and discover the Severn Valley on a nine-mile walk in June.

We will follow the River Severn upstream past Hampton Loade and Eardington to Bridgnorth.  At Bridgnorth there will be an opportunity to eat your packed lunch or purchase some food from the town.  We will then make our way to Bridgnorth Railway Station and jump on the Severn Valley Steam Railway back to the Country Park Halt.

Please bring a packed lunch and drink, wear walking boots and bring waterproofs in case of rain.

The walk is on Sunday 22 June 2014, between 9.15am and 4.30pm, and the charge for adults is £10, and children £6.  Purchasing of tickets in advance is essential.  We regret that we cannot take payment on the day, and that tickets are non-refundable.  Tickets must be purchased by Sunday 15 June 2014.  For more information and to book your place please phone 01746-781192.

Meet at the Visitor Centre and Teashop, open Wednesdays to Sundays 11am to 4pm and every day during school holidays.
