Minsterley and Pontesbury competition run by Community Alcohol Partnership

Young people in the areas of Minsterley and Pontesbury, and surrounding villages, are invited to enter a competition and have the chance to win over £200 of prize money.

The Community Alcohol Partnership’s competition is open for young people in Key Stages 3 & 4 (Years 7-11 at secondary school).  The competition runs until Friday 9 May 2014.

Young people are asked to submit a piece of ‘creative work’ highlighting their perception of the impact of alcohol.  A list of examples of creative work could include but is not exhaustive to:

  • Poems
  • Song
  • Dance
  • Written work
  • Pieces of music
  • Film

 

    Judging will take place during the week beginning Monday 19 May 2014 and will be judged by the CAP Partnership.

    Two winners will be selected (one from each Key Stage), and presented with a £50 gift voucher of their choice.  There will also be six runners-up £20 gift vouchers awarded.  The prizes will be awarded at a presentation on a date to be confirmed.
