North planning committee decisions – 11 February 2014

The following planning decisions were made by Shropshire Council’s North planning committee at its meeting on Tuesday 11 February 2014 in Shrewsbury. 

Land north Of Tedsmore Road, Holyhead Road, West Felton (13/01221/OUT)

Outline application (all matters reserved) for mixed residential development comprising 35 dwellings and 4 commercial units with associated open space. 

Decision:  That planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation.

The Vicarage, Tilstock, Whitchurch, SY13 3JL (13/01912/OUT)

Outline application for residential development comprising 25 dwellings (all matters reserved). 

Decision:  That planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation. 

Residential development south of Old Mapsis Way, Morda (13/03846/OUT)

Outline application (access and scale) for the erection of 10 single-storey dwellings; formation of parking area and vehicular access. 

Decision:  That planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation. 

Proposed housing site west of Chester Road, Whitchurch (13/04268/OUT)

Outline application for erection of 14 no. dwellings to include means of access, site layout and provision of public open space. 

Decision:  That planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation. 

Land adjacent  to The Grove, London Road, Woore, CW3 9SQ (12/04496/OUT)

Outline application (access and layout) for the erection of 21 dwellings, formation of vehicular access, provision of recreational facility including parking and clubhouse, and development of wildlife corridor. 

Decision:  That subject to:

  • Satisfactory resolution of the outstanding ecology issues; and
  • The applicants entering into a S106 legal agreement to secure an appropriate contribution to affordable housing. 

The Planning Services Manager be granted delegated authority to issue planning permission in accordance with the officer’s recommendation. 

Proposed residential development east of Gyrn Road, Selattyn (13/01735/OUT)

Outline application (to include access and layout) for the erection of 6no. Dwellings, to include access provision to the Selattyn Primary School approved car parking facility (OS/08/15744/FUL). 

Decision:  That this item be deferred until a future meeting of this committee, to allow the committee to undertake a site visit to assess the impact of the proposal on the surround area and neighbouring properties. 

Plas Wilmot, Weston Lane, Oswestry, SY11 2BB (13/03184/FUL)

Change of use of land to form new access to replace access arrangements, approved under application no. 11/04122/OUT. 

Decision:  That this item be deferred until a future meeting of this committee, to allow the committee to undertake a site visit to assess the impact of the proposal on the surround area and neighbouring properties. 

Proposed dwelling adjoining Cemetery, Daisy Lane, Whittington (13/04606/OUT)

Outline application for the erection of a detached bungalow with integral garage (all matters reserved). 

Decision:  That planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation.

Land adjoining 8A St. Martins Moor, St Martins, Oswestry, SY10 7BQ (13/05016/OUT)

Outline application for the erection of 2 no. detached dwellings (all matters reserved). 

Decision:   That this item be deferred until a future meeting of this committee, to allow the committee to undertake a site visit to assess the impact of the proposal on the surround area and neighbouring properties. 

Clementines, Station Road,  Baschurch  (13/03983/FUL)

Change of use to cafe and hot food takeaway (A3/A5 use), erection of extensions to form additional ground floor accommodation and first floor managers flat. 

Decision:  That planning permission be granted in accordance with the officer’s recommendation.

Opening hours to be: Mondays to Saturdays 8am to 11pm, and Sundays 10am until 10.30pm. 

Land east of The Old Rectory, Selattyn, SY10 7EZ (13/03821/OUT)

Outline application (all matters reserved) for the erection of 9 dwellings (including 3 affordable). 

Decision:  That this item be deferred until a future meeting of this committee, to allow the committee to undertake a site visit to assess the impact of the proposal on the surround area and neighbouring properties.
