The committee will see a presentation from one of Shropshire Council’s commissioning managers about the future direction of the LJC, and will also hear an update about Shropshire Council’s planning service.

Shropshire Councillor Tudor Bebb, chairman of the LJC, will welcome the public, and said:

‘‘The LJC is a chance for local people to come along and listen to what is happening in Shropshire.  The public also have a chance to ask councillors questions and raise any concerns.  We hope the local community come out and get involved.’’

The meeting will also include a review of the latest requests for grant support from the LJC, a question and answer session with local councillors, an update on the Shropshire Council budget for 2014/15, an update on Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, as well as a brief update on Connecting Shropshire’s broadband programme.
