Local people are being encouraged to go along to their next Gobowen, Selattyn, St Martins and Weston Rhyn Local Joint Committee (LJC) to help the committee decide how meetings are to run in future.

The meeting, to be held at All Saints Church Hall , Gobowen on Tuesday 25 February 2014 at 7pm, will also give residents a chance to discuss the issues which affect them and learn more about what is available the area in which they live.

Shropshire Councillor Steve Davenport, Chairman of the LJC, said

”We have nine project applications to consider in this round, and have supported many groups with funding over the years.  Our area looks at resolving local issues in partnership, and have achieved a great deal since 2009.  We have played a fundamental role in the provision of the much-needed crossing in Gobowen, and will continue to take residents concerns on board.  I hope that people will come forward and help decide how they want the meetings to run in the future. “
